Creating an internal evaluation
An internal evaluation is the unit of work you fill in for your school. It contains the teacher questions you answer about yourself, and the pupil assessments you record for your class.
1. Tap New Evaluation
Section titled “1. Tap New Evaluation”From the MONITORING tab on your home screen, tap the yellow New Evaluation button.
2. Select a form
Section titled “2. Select a form”The Select Form screen lists the forms available to your school. Tap the one you want to use. If the project only has a single form, the app skips this screen.
3. Select a class (optional)
Section titled “3. Select a class (optional)”The Select Class screen lists the classes you teach. You have two options:
- Tap one of your classes to link the evaluation to it.
- Tap Continue Without Class at the bottom if the evaluation is not class-specific.
4. The evaluation is created
Section titled “4. The evaluation is created”You land on the evaluation screen. At the top you can see the form name, date, evaluator, and school. The Evaluator field shows your own name (the evaluation is a self evaluation). The screen has two tabs:
- TEACHER: questions about your own teaching practice.
- PUPILS: assessments you run with your pupils.
The yellow Start button under Teacher Questions opens the question form. The Complete Evaluation button at the bottom finalises the evaluation once everything is answered.
Head teacher version of this flow
Section titled “Head teacher version of this flow”If you are signed in as the head teacher, a Select Teacher screen appears between Select Form and Select Class:
Tap Self Evaluation to evaluate yourself, or tap a colleague to evaluate them. The Evaluator field on the evaluation will be your name (Head Teacher) and the evaluated teacher is the one you picked.
