Logging in
You reach the dashboard in any modern web browser. If you open a page while signed out, you are sent to the login screen first and then returned to where you were headed.
The login screen
Section titled “The login screen”
The screen shows a single form with two fields:
- Username, or Phone Number: type either your username (usually your email) or your registered phone number.
- Password
Then press Continue.
If sign-in fails
Section titled “If sign-in fails”- “Invalid username or password.”: the username or phone number was not found, or the password was wrong. Check for typos and try again.
- “Account temporarily locked. Try again later.”: five failed attempts in a row will lock the account for 15 minutes as a security measure. Wait for the lockout to pass and try again. If you cannot remember your password, ask an administrator to reset it, then sign in once the lockout has passed (resetting the password does not lift the lockout).
Where you land
Section titled “Where you land”After you sign in, the dashboard takes you straight to your own starting point, which depends on your role:
| Your role | You land on |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Your organisation’s overview |
| Manager with a single project | That project’s country dashboard |
| Manager with several projects | Your organisation’s overview |
| Country official | Your country’s dashboard |
| Project staff (coordinator) | Your project’s view |
| Region official | Your project’s view |
From there you use the sidebar to move around. See Finding your way around.
Signing out
Section titled “Signing out”The Logout button is in the top right of every page, next to your name. Use it on shared computers when you are finished.
