The Training tab

The Training tab reports on the training delivered in the project: how many teachers and others have been trained, and a list of every training event. It appears in both the full and the reduced navigation, so project staff and region officials can see it as well as managers.

The project Training tab with the key figures, the Teacher Breakdown, the Numbers Reached chart and the trainings table

Near the top there is a term and period dropdown, which defaults to All Time. Change it to focus on a single term or your own date range, and the key figures, the Teacher Breakdown and the trainings table reload to match.

A row of key-figure boxes summarises the period you selected: Pupils, Teachers and Officials are the numbers reached by training, while Visits counts the school visits and Schools the schools registered in that period.

The Teacher Breakdown section splits the total number of teachers trained into categories. As the section notes, it excludes refresher figures, so it reflects how many distinct teachers have been reached.

The Numbers Reached chart plots the total number of teachers and officials reached by training each year. It covers every monitoring year and does not change with the period selector.

The trainings table lists every training event in the period. Its columns are:

  • Training, the event name, which is a link into that training.
  • Date.
  • Total Trained, a parent column that expands into a breakdown by category: ECCD, P1, P2, P3, Heads, Others and Officials.

An information icon on the table explains: “The figures include refresher trainings, so totals may be more than the total numbers reached above”. A footer row shows the Total trainings count.
