Saved reports
A Project Form Report is a saved Data Explorer view. It holds a fixed set of dates and filters together with the per-question results, so the same analysis can be reopened later and shared with your team. You create one from the Data Explorer using Save as Project Form Report.
Opening a report
Section titled “Opening a report”At the top of the page is an Open a report picker. Choose a report from the dropdown to load it. The report then shows a card with three sections:
- Project Form: the monitoring form the report is built on.
- Dates: the period the report covers.
- Filters: the filters applied. If there are none, it reads “This report has no filters applied”.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”Above the buttons is a full-width Edit button on its own: it opens an “Edit filters” window where you can change the report’s dates and filters.
Below it is a row of six action buttons:
- Clean Data: open the data cleaning tools for this report.
- View Schools: the list of schools included in the report (see below).
- Custom Reports: build and view formatted reports from this data. See Custom reports.
- Officials Visits: the Official Visits report (see below).
- Report Exports: generate and download an Excel export of the data. See Excel exports.
- View full screen: open the report results on their own, filling the screen.
The Official Visits report
Section titled “The Official Visits report”The Officials Visits button opens the Official Visits Report for the report’s period. Its Schools table summarises activity per monitor, with these columns:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Official | The monitor. |
| Number of School Visits | School visits they recorded. |
| Number of Teacher Visits | Teacher observations they recorded. |
| Absent Teacher Forms Submitted | Forms submitted for teachers who were absent. |
| Number of Assessments | Pupil assessments they recorded. |
In the View Visits column, each row has an Open button. It opens a list of that official’s monitoring visits in the report, showing each school name, the date, and the number of teachers visited.
Schools in the report
Section titled “Schools in the report”The View Schools button lists the schools that fall within the report’s dates and filters, so you can see exactly which schools the figures are drawn from and open any one of them.
