Project Configuration

The Configuration gear opens the project’s setup menu. It sits near the project name and appears only for senior managers and above. If you do not have a high enough role, the gear does not appear and the project pages are read-only.

The menu is laid out in columns. This page lists them as a reference, with links to the detailed guides for each area.

Team

• Project Staff and Region Officials manage the people who do the monitoring in the project. See Your team.

State setup

• The districts setup manages the districts within the project’s region. The label for this level is set per country, so a deployment may render a different word such as “LGA”.
• Metrics defines the figures the dashboard reports against. See Metrics.

Monitoring and assessment

• School Visit Forms manages which monitoring forms the project uses. See Monitoring forms.

Data

• Deduplication System finds and resolves suspected duplicate records across the project. See Deduplication.
• Teacher Import brings teacher records into the project from a spreadsheet.

Other

• Impact Configuration edits the Key Results tables and targets used by the Impact tab. See The Impact tab.

Note

The exact items you see depend on your role and on how the project is set up. Senior managers and above see the gear; some actions within these pages are limited to administrators.
