Pins and rollout
A pin is the code a staff member uses to sign in to the mobile monitoring app. Every project staff member and region official has one (you can see it on their profile). Before someone can start monitoring, they need their pin and a link to download the app. The project’s User Pins page is where you send both, by SMS.
The User Pins page
Section titled “The User Pins page”The page is headed with the project name and the subtitle User Pins. You reach it from the View Pins button on the Region Officials list.
At the top, an Actions card holds a Send Pins to Everyone button. Below it, the project’s people are listed in two tables, Project Staff and Officials. Each table has these columns:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The person’s name, a link to their profile |
| District/Project | Their district or project, as a link |
| Phone Numbers | The phone numbers the pin will be sent to |
| Pin | Their sign-in pin |
| Actions | A Send Pin button (administrators only) |
Sending pins
Section titled “Sending pins”You can send pins one at a time or in bulk:
- Send Pin on a table row sends the pin and the app link to that one person. It opens a confirmation dialog first.
- Send Pins to Everyone sends them to everyone on the project at once. It opens a confirmation dialog titled “Send pins to whole project” before anything goes out.
